We start the new term with two examination sessions on September 21st and 28th with another session booked for December.
Students are prepared and entered for exams when the teacher feels they have reached the required standard for that level.

The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) are one of the world’s leading dance examination boards, with the widest range of dance genres available. Their vocational exams are accredited by Ofqual and students can receive UCAS points on successfully passing these higher level exams.

We want every student to enjoy the examination experience and do our upmost to ensure that they are fully prepared for the big day. Everyone is given the opportunity to take an exam when they are ready. However, they are not compulsory, and students can move up to the next level without taking the exam when the teacher is satisfied that they have the knowledge and technique required for the next grade.
